My Smart Lipo Procedure
Okay, here goes.
I am sharing more with all of you than I ever have in my life. But this is so cool. If I could have really seen what to expect from Smart Lipo and all these other procedures, I may not have hesitated so much about doing it!
So what should you expect from these videos? We’ve broken them up into multiple videos so you can scroll through and we are giving you a lot to learn about. I think we are going to add a simplified summary video later, but the point of this is to share, so I want to make sure you get a real sense of what my Smart Lipo day was like.
We started by going over the information, waivers, additional questions and re-drew my bullseyes. Then Dr. Goodkind measured of 5×5 squares on my bullseyes so he perform the procedure in smaller sections.
Next, we got started! Dr. Goodkind did phase 1 of 3 for my procedure by heating the fat. Careful…this starts to get graphic from here on out…
Now comes the real graphic stuff…it’s suction time. Seriously, if you get queasy easily, you may want to be careful watching this. But I have to tell you, I was awake and yapping away during this. So I was okay!
Here is where we do my knees
And here is post-procedure when we go over my rules, talk more about “vigorous” exercising, etc…
So what do you think? Was it as bad as you thought? Better? Would you do it?
Day 2 after Smart Lipo!
Sorry I keep using the word amazing- but it is truly Amazing!!! I had a very full day yesterday and was able to do it all! It obviously takes alot more than Smart Lipo to keep me down!
Dr. Goodkind just called to check on me and was very happy to hear how I was doing. I had no drainage, and very little swelling! I am still sore-it feels like I did 500 squats, and it is difficult to get in and out of my car because it is low to the ground…otherwise I am doing really well!
Last night my husband and I went to Prime 16 for a friend’s birthday dinner…everyone had amazing burgers and fries!
I am having a hard time eating fatty food after seeing the jar of fat…so I chose a veggie burger and mixed greens- I did have a pumpkin beer that was amazing. I really have had a change in the way I feel about food and exercise-watch out world there is a new Erica on the loose!
Getting my meds for Smart Lipo
It’s getting a little crazy around here today. I feel like I am preparing to go away on vacation! I am doing laundry like crazy, dishes, washing the dog…
Wow. I think I am a little nervous! I just picked up my meds that I will have to take the day of. Otherwise, it’s almost time!
Smart Lipo MPX
It’s Kati here. Well, get ready! Erica had her consult with Dr. Goodkind for her Smart Lipo MPX and boy was she brave!! She actually stood there, on camera and bared it all for you to see. Next week you will be able to watch the entire consultation. All of her questions were answered and then some. I can’t tell you how excited she is about her up coming procedure. I keep telling her “just wait,” you won’t believe how much fat you leave in the jar! It will amaze you. Here some misconceptions that I have come across this week about Smart Lipo MPX this week.
1. NO, THE FAT DOES NOT GROW BACK! Your body has a finite number of fat cells. Once they are removed they are gone. If you should gain weight, the other fat cells fill in proportion to the amount of weight you gain. This is NOT an answer to obesity, weight loss or taking care of yourself.
2. IT TAKES MULTIPLE TREATMENTS. No. Smart Lipo MPX is “one and done.” The procedure, depending on how large of an area takes only a few hours.
3. ALL SMART LIPO IS THE SAME! Not true. The Smart Lipo MPX is the fastest, most effective and safest version of this technology. The older versions do not have the power to get the same results. The MPX has an internal temperature gauge that help to keep the procedure safe and highly effective. This helps the skin tightening aspect. If you are not getting your procedure done at FUZION, ask if you are getting the MPX. If not, do your research – the call FUZION.
4. IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN TRADITIONAL LIPO. Not true. Smart Lipo MPX may not be cheap, but without the anesthesia, hospital and ancillary staff costs, you are paying the same amount for a more effective procedure.
5. TRADITIONAL LIPO IS BETTER. Not true. Smart Lipo MPX not only liquifies the fat so it is easier to remove, but the second laser wave length heats up the skin and causes tightening. Traditional lipo left larger scars, rippling and untreated irregularities.
I hope that I have helped to dispell some of the misconceptions surrounding Smart Lipo MPX. If you should have more questions, please don’t hesitate to email me directly at kati@fuzionct.com or Dr. Goodkind at dr.g@fuzionct.com. We are more than happy to help. Or better yet, set up your free consultation appointment today.
The list…
Here are a few of the questions that I need answered…
-Is there anything I should do to prep my body in advance? Diet, vitamins to help the healing process?
-What happens if I gain or lose weight? Does the fat come back?
-Will it be easier after the procedure to show muscle definition?
-Scaring? At incision sites?
-Curves? Will I still have curves?
-Will my existing clothes still fit?
-I heard that will be awake during? Will I feel anything during the procedure?
It is Smart Lipo question time!
I was walking around the Jacob Javits Convention Center at a buying show and got a text that I have my consult with Dr. Goodkind this week! I have a ton of questions:
Will I have an incision? Will there be a scar?
I heard there will be a compression thing I have to wear? For how long?
How much smaller will I be? Will my current clothes still fit?
What will my skin feel like after? Will it still be soft or does it get hard under the skin?
I have a bunch more but maybe you have a question I should be asking…Can you leave me a comment with a few questions I should ask? Thank you for your support!
Peace,
Erica
