It’s been awhile since I posted a video so I thought I would let you see what’s going on. If you haven’t heard about Bruno, the new male version of me, check him out at Bruno Gabs! But don’t worry. I’m not going anywhere. I’m heading back in for a maintenance appointment soon with Kati at FUZION to see what “touch ups” I need to have done.
I have to let you in on a secret. I FEEL AMAZING! And I am starting to really feel like it shows. I have clients in my shop asking if I just went on vacation, friends who are jealous as all hell and I have a great story to share from this week.
So I left FUZION after getting another makeup lesson with Michelle and I have to say I was feeling great…really feeling like I was looking good—on top of the world! I stopped to get gas, when I got out of the car I smiled at the gentleman pumping gas next to me, went to put my credit card back in my wallet, and looked back at him. He asked “Should I know you? Are you famous or something?” I said “nope” and he said “You were just being friendly?” and I said “yes”…we both chuckled and before he left he said “good bye beautiful, friendly, not famous lady!”
It’s so funny. I was so hesitant and worried when we first started. But I have never felt so good about myself. I really am loving every minute of focusing on me…it’s such a sinful pleasure! Feeling this good ought to be illegal!
So this is something I haven’t done before! After our recap and touch base meeting to see how things are going, Kati decided that she wanted to use the Affirm Laser treatment on me. Her main reasons for wanting to do this was to resurface my skin, work on the underlying rosacea and help my pores.
It was not as uncomfortable as the IPL and I LOVE my results. Take a look for yourself.
Kati and I sat down to review everything I have done so far, my results…and what else I want to do! We take a look at my before pictures [wow...what a difference!]. Can you tell a difference? I sure can!
What’s up next? We are going to do the Affirm laser treatment, IPL and another chemical peel. Kati explains everything [even cost], so take a look!
Okay, so this is a new dilemma for me. I am not used to having so many options for jeans.
Can I get away with skinny jeans now? They aren’t hugging my fatty knees [thanks Dr. G!]. Am I actually going to be able to wear a pair of jeans tucked inside of my boots? Can I get away with that? I am totally not used to this…
Time to check in with Dr. Goodkind on my Smart Lipo progress! And I [of course] brought along the video camera to share my consult with you. Dr. Goodkind takes a look at his handy work to see how I am doing.
I had a few questions for Dr. G:
• When can I start exercising [he said yes, I can now]
• Is it going to go down more in swelling/size [yes]
• Do I still have to wear the compression garment [at night if I want to]
• Should I be massaging myself [yes-it will help with the scar tissue]
• Is the itching okay [yes-that means it is healing]
Some people believe. Some people don’t. Tomato. Tomaaahto.
I think Mary’s energy healing helped me a lot with my Smart Lipo procedure—and most importantly—healing. I thought it would be good to introduce you to Mary and let you hear about how she can help pre- and post- op [and during]. With a background as an RN, I feel right at home with how she has helped to “heal” me and her overall knowledge of the procedures and what was happening with my body.
My pain has been minimal. My draining has been non-existent. My result have been awesome. Coincidence? Hmmm…I don’t think so…
Have you ever tried energy healing? What do you think?
So I am having a weird side effect from my Smart Lipo procedure at FUZION.
I CAN’T EAT ANYTHING FATTENING!
Seriously, every time I look at sweet potato fries, burgers, cinnamon buns…all I see is the jar of fat that was sucked out of me! Has this happened to anyone else who has had Smart Lipo? Will this be a lasting “side effect?”
So yesterday was really cool. I got to see Kati use her the new Fraxel CO2 Re:Pair Laser on Debbie.
Sounds a little freaky, but she actually is giving Debbie a selective sunburn to help with pores, texture, wrinkles…all that good stuff. Clearly Kati can do a better job explaining what it is, exactly. But I wanted to share this with you since it is not something that I am doing!
