Unfortunatly, The Summer is Over

The summer months are drawing to a close. Although this was an unusual one, I still see, as I look around most people getting a little summer color and feeling good about their skin because of this. Skin appearance is also helped by the humidity and the various lotions one applies to protect themselves. Now with fall quickly approaching, you will find that your healthy glow will change to a dry, tired and dull look unless you involve yourself with a personalized skin care regime. I know I’m the surgeon in the Fuzion group and do know my limitations with regard to non surgical maneuvers, but just like all of you, I am learning fast. Do yourself a huge favor and consult with Michele, Laura or Kati and start a program that you will find tremendous value in. Like anything else in life, it takes some time and commitment, but I am sure you will find the results quite rewarding.

At Pilot Pen Tennis

I thought I would take a break and head over to Pilot Pen Tennis. Laura would have been proud though…I had my SPF 50 hat on and my reflect! Luckily I was able to enjoy the outdoors without scorching myself. It really is funny how much more I think about things now that I never used to!

People notice your smile!

I had 2 vendors at the buying show compliment me on how good my teeth looked! And shame on them they aren’t Following Erica so they didn’t have a clue to the whitening! I am loving showing off my pearly whites! So a word to my followers- get your face good and clean, whiten your teeth and the world will start to notice!

Time for teeth whitening

Yep…that’s right. It’s time to get these pearly whites even whiter.

I was a little worried that my teeth would be too sensitive or I’d have to watch what I ate or drank [no blueberry shakes for me!]. But overall, getting my teeth whitened was pretty easy and painless. You’ll see the most painful part was for me not to talk!!

So Laura, how often will I need to have a “tune up” on my teeth? How long will each whitening last? What can I do to prolong my whitening?

Morning walk

Hi Everyone,

Abby and I went for our morning walk/swim at the beach…it is her favorite thing to do! I have to say, it is one of my favorite things too.   It is our special time together.   We both look forward to going to the beach in Maine.

How about you? What are your favorite vacation habits?   What do you do routinely on vacation that just wouldn’t be the same if you didn’t do?

At the beach!

Okay. I am doing everything Kati + Laura from FUZION have taught me. We’ll see how well I do. I am a little worried though…it’s hot and bright out! I hope all of my Cosmedix and Skin Medica sunscreens work!

We’re on VACATION!

Okay, I’ve headed to Maine with my sister and her kids.  I might need a vacation from the vacation?!  I am prepared to go to the beach! I am armed with Cosmedix and Skin Medica sunscreen, Wallaroo hats, and a beach umbrella!  I will be the brightest white on the beach but that is the name of the game…

Keep checking back to see how well I do!

Mmmm…grocery shopping

Hi everyone,

So the funny thing that has happened along the way is that I actually want to keep this going from the inside out. I don’t just look better…I feel better! And I want to keep feeling better! So the “fam” and I have agreed to try and eat better too. I’ve been walking in the mornings, watching what I am eating and I feel like I have so much more energy.

I thought I would share my trip to the grocery store this week. Oh, and please…let me know if you have any great recipes to try. I am really looking to improve my recipe box with some healthier ideas!

Using makeup to look tan

Hi Erica!

I know we talked this week about how you can use your glominerals to look tan, then I saw you asked here, so I thought I would share with everyone! Here is how I recommend getting your fake glow.

If you want to try glominerals, you just can’t do a great Bronzed face without:
> glogolden bronzing stick [glo minerals]
> globronze [sunkiss or sunlight] [glo minerals]
> glosheer tintbase bronzing gel [glo minerals]
> a great powder brush [real, non-synthetic]

Technique:
For a Bronzed face, you don’t need sponges…all you need are your fingers and a brush. I always start with a powder bronzer once I’ve applied the base. One of the most important tricks with giving yourself a sun-kissed look is to always apply bronzer where the sun would naturally hit—your forehead, bridge of your nose, and of course, your cheeks. When applying, make sure you make a “C” shape  from your temple to the middle of your cheek bone. BLEND. BLEND. BLEND. You never want to see a line. You can always add a little more pop of color to your cheeks with a slightly brighter shade of blush. And to get the “fresh from the beach” look, make sure you use a sheer coral hue gloss [I recommend glominerals lipgloss in persimmons].

For an even more dramatic look, you can use a gel bronzer mixed in with your moisturizer and follow the steps above.

Let me know if you have any questions!

My skin is hanging!

Okay. What the…

When Laura said my skin was going to be hanging from my face, she wasn’t exaggerating! Holy crow!

Has anyone ever experienced this? I have to pick up the hubby tonight at the airport too…won’t he be surprised!
